The Vospers Group, with a turnover approaching £235 million, consists of 16 separate sites offering vehicle sales and aftercare to its customers. The Company is recognised as a leading employer in Devon and Cornwall and has won many prestigious awards for its outstanding commitment to customer care in the world of automotive retailing. The Company also maintains its position as one of the top 50 motor dealers in Great Britain.
Vospers run a multi-franchise/multi-site motor dealership operation and the complexity of the existing reporting put a real strain on Excel (on which we maintained our internal management accounts). The spreadsheets were of such a size that they became unstable, impracticable to use by the managers/directors, and very cumbersome to change.
They were searching for a solution to deliver their Management Reporting that was:

The installation of Infor d/EPM removed the need for the Vospers Management Accounts spreadsheets completely, and replaced them with a robust custom made set of management accounts which is easy to update on a daily basis. The ability for offsite managers to have 24/7 access to their departments’ results cut down on the volume of email traffic and greater security over who was seeing what.
The biggest improvement for Vospers has been the ability to toggle results between their different sites, months, years and franchises effortlessly. Compared to opening up various spreadsheets and scrolling through the pages and tabs the difference has been night and day.
Vospers have the desire to expand their dashboard capabilities further, and to develop their information budgeting application, to provide monthly rolling forecasts with calculated balance sheet and cashflow.
